I
realized today that 6gun mage turned 10 on January 13th. This should
have felt like a huge accomplishment, but somewhere between my constant
work and my struggle with depression I completely missed it.
It
made it to ten years. I should probably be proud of that, but I’m also
in the midsts of ending it, so the emotions are mixed.
I’m also 8 pages into a new comic I’ve wanted to do for a few years and intend to do after 6gun ends.
Normally
I’d kickstart it, but I have yet to complete fulfillment of my last
project and even if Kickstarter would allow it, I’d feel too guilty to
do so.
I
don’t know if there will be a big launch. I’m not really in a place
for that. I may just sneak it into existence and let it grow naturally
like way back when. Though frankly with all the money I’m hemorrhaging
this summer that would probably be unwise.
I’d
also like to build some sort of celestial filing depot hub for all my
comics, but I lack the coding ability, so if anyone is interested and I
have a free moment…
Anyway,
stay tuned to see what comes of my new project and if you haven’t kept
up, give six gun mage a read and a happy tenth birthday. It’s been a
long bumpy ride and a labor of love for most of its run.
